Kicking off our playlist for this year, we go back to Ady’s performance at the QCM, in September, 2015, with this symphony by early symphonist Antonio Brioschi. Stay tuned as we share more memories of Ady’s performances from over the years, between now and New Year’s Day.



Ady @ the Con 2017

We’re pleased to announce that Ady will be back at the Qld Con in 2017. We’ll be presenting a program that will include works by local composers, Rachel Merton, Corrina Bonshek, and Thomas Green. The Ady Ensemble is looking for some augmenting violinists and violists to join us for our next project, “Ady @ the Con: Stan Getz & Focus”, which will involve a performance at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music on evening of the 9th of September. Tchaikovsky and Mussorgsky: two Russian Greats

As part of the Ady Ensemble’s concert this upcoming Saturday, Hot Vodka, the ensemble will be playing works by two of Russia’s greatest composers: Tchaikovsky and Mussorgsky. Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings was written in 1880, and is not onlly a classic of the string orchestra repertoire, but is considered one of the greats of Western



Who is Rachel Merton?

As part of our next concert, Hot Vodka, we’ll be performing the World Premiere of, “Allegro for Strings”- a new work by Rachel Merton. Rachel is an active composer and teacher in the Brisbane area.
