The Ady Ensemble is very excited to announce our Project 1 for 2023: New but old. Old but new.
The program will feature a work that is new to the ensemble, but is an old work – and a work that is old for the ensemble, but new for most audiences. We’ll be starting with the Rachel Merton’s energetic, “Allegro for Strings”, a work written for the ensemble back in 2015, followed by Anton Bruckner’s glorious 4th Symphony (the “Romantic”).
This will be ensemble’s first performance in some time, & these two works create a bridge back to our previous performances, which involved works only for strings. More info will be available soon on our Events page.
