The Ady Ensemble is looking for some augmenting violinists and violists to join us for our next project, “Ady @ the Con: Stan Getz & Focus”, which will involve a performance at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music on evening of the 9th of September. This should be an exciting concert, as we perform new arrangements

Tchaikovsky and Mussorgsky: two Russian Greats

As part of the Ady Ensemble’s concert this upcoming Saturday, Hot Vodka, the ensemble will be playing works by two of Russia’s greatest composers: Tchaikovsky and Mussorgsky. Who is Rachel Merton?

As part of our next concert, Hot Vodka, we’ll be performing the World Premiere of, “Allegro for Strings”- a new work by Rachel Merton. Rachel is an active composer and teacher in the Brisbane area.
