Introducing Bronwyn Powter

It gives the Ady Ensemble great pleasure to announce Bronwyn as one of our ensemble organisers for 2023 projects.

Bronwyn joins the Ady Ensemble with extensive event experience. As a flutist, Bronwyn has performed with numerous orchestras including the National Youth Orchestra, and the Newcastle Wind Orchestra, small ensembles and a soloist. Bronwyn has taught flute and bands across a number of schools in Queensland, New South Wales and in London.

After completing a Bachelor of Music in New South Wales, Bronwyn sought to work with high calibre musicians, choosing to work amongst flutists in Sydney, before relocating to London and working with flutists across the UK.

After returning to Australia in 2001, Bronwyn moved to Queensland where she has worked (and continues to work) with the Queensland Flute Guild to run events, and tours across Queensland. She has worked with the Brisbane Philanthropic Orchestra in front of house duties, and currently works with the Australian Flute Festival. Bronwyn has recently begun work with the Ady ensemble to assist where possible to ensure musicians and director alike maintain the high quality they seek to maintain. The ensemble is delighted to have Bronwyn as one of our important organising staff.
