Ady Ensemble

Today is a large milestone in the Ady Ensemble’s history. Ten years ago, the ensemble participated for the first time in the 4MBS Classic FM Festival of Classics, giving the world premieres of works by Michael Forsyth and Thomas Green, plus the Australian premiere of Philip Glass’ 3rd Symphony. It also set up a concert format, and the sting-based instrumentation of the ensemble, for the following six years.

We’d like to thank all of those players who were involved with the ensemble back then, and those who have contributed to the ensemble over these last ten years.
