The Ady Ensemble is currently in the middle of preparations for a recording session, to be held in December of this year, recording a concert version of Corrina Bonshek’s, “Song for the Earth”, premiered as part of the Commonwealth Games arts activities earlier this year.

Another local composer, Elaine Seeto, has also written us a work, and both of these works will be recorded at the 4MBS Studios in mid December. Although we have the majority of the ensemble booked, we are still currently seeking more violas, cellos, and double basses for the recording session, and two rehearsals. Commitments will be held on the 11th, 15th and 16th of December.

Here at Ady, we are keen to develop the performance levels & opportunities of the ensemble, & of course that can’t happen without having some wonderful people to help us to achieve our core value, Fun, as a means of achieving high levels of performance that are rewarding to both our players & audiences alike.
