Ady @ the Con: Thanks for joining us!
We’d like to thank all of those lovely people who came to watch the Ady Ensemble perform on Friday night. We had a great time performing in the Ian Hanger Hall at the QCM. It was fun to perform some works that we hadn’t played for a few years, and to share some pieces from our more recent concerts. The Adyophiles (read: players) were in good form, with the audience relishing their performance as much as the players were enjoying the opportunity to play at the QCM to an enthusiastic and appreciative audience. The general consensus amongst the Adyophiles was that it was a great and fun experience, and we’d like to thank the QCM for the opportunity to perform at the Con, with a special thank you to Clare Wharton for all of her help over the last year in getting us ready for this performance, and to Buck for his kind assistance on the night.
We’re already discussing our concerts for next year, and a return performance at the QCM will hopefully be a part of our concert series.
Keep an eye out for future posts, when we’ll be uploading footage from both of our concerts from this year. Until then take care, and we hope to see you at one of our performances in 2016.
Did you come our performance @ the Con? We’d love to hear from you. Please leave us a message through our Contact Page.
