Whilst we were off checking out potential venues for next year’s concerts we spotted these: Lego cuff links, made by a local artist. They’re just the right colour and shape to wear to an Ady concert. How cute are these! So there are several venues that we’re looking at for next year at the moment,

Highlights from Ady @ UQ Lunchtime Concert Series

Tom Green has been busy stitching together some of the video and audio tracks from our performance out at the University of Queensland School of Music the other week, and he’s put together our performance of his Concerto for trombone and strings. You can find it here. More to come. Stay tuned.    

Ady @ 4MBS Festival of Classics

We’re planning to participate in the 4MBS Festival of Classics in 2014. We’ll bring you more details as they become available to us, but our performance will be some time in May. Stay tuned!

Next year’s plans are underway

So who are we looking at playing next year? It will be Peter Sculthorpe’s 85th birthday, so we’re just trawling through his works to see what might suit us. There’s also some works by the wonderful Estonian composer Arvo Part that might foot the bill, along with Michael Tippett, and perhaps even Charles Ives. There’s
